This organization’s certificate has been revoked.

If you are here and you are the owner of the website you might be interested in my experience.  If you are a user and wonder what this is it probably means the SSL certificate has been revoked, in my case it was for non-payment.

If you read my other blog entry hsphere register.com ssl certificate installation you might remember that I was supposed to call register.com and uncancel the certificate which I had refunded. 

Well I forgot to do that and my certificate ended up on a revocation list.  I don’t have a resource for checking revocation, let me know if you find one.

So I installed a new certificate on my server and all is now well.
